The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be holy; he will be called Son Of God (Luke 1:35).

Mary was amazed, but said, "Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word" (Luke 1:38).   Then the angel left.

Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.   She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for He will save his people from their sins. (Matthew 1:20b,21).

Mary's baby was to be named Jesus which means "the Lord saves."  God sent Jesus to save us!  Mike, God sent Jesus to save you!

Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel (Matthew 1:23).

Mike, do you know what the name Emmanuel means?  It means "God with us."  Jesus is God with you, Mike!   he is God with Larry, Daniel and Mark, too!  Jesus was God's way of showing Himself to us all!

But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for see - I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord (Luke 2:10,11). The angel also gave them a sign, Mike.

Page 28 - The angel told the shepherds that they would find Baby Jesus wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.  That was the sign.  Then suddenly, Mike, there were angels everywhere praising God.   The shepherds were amazed!  After the angels left, the shepherds went quickly to Bethlehem.  There were Mary and Joseph.  And there was Baby Jesus- wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger!

Thank you, Jesus, Son of God and Savior, for coming to earth!

Merry Christmas, Mike!
